Terms & Conditions

The world of stock assets can be confusing with varying licensing options. We endeavour to make our licensing terms as easy as possible. However, if you’re ever unsure, please contact us at s.morris@velastudio.co.uk to discuss your query.

A lot of time, energy and hard work has gone into our stock assets, so we kindly ask that you adhere to the terms and conditions listed below. Your purchase of any stock assets, or downloading of free assets provided by Vela Studio, means you agree to our terms and conditions listed below.

You have the freedom to:

  • Utilise the images for both personal and business purposes, both online and in print.

  • Use the images on your website or social media without the necessity of providing credit (though we genuinely appreciate it when you do!).

  • Freely use the images an unlimited number of times for personal projects and within your own business ventures, including on your website, blog posts, and social media.

  • Use the stock assets in the creation of digital products for your business, such as opt-in downloads like e-books and PDF’s. However, it is essential that the images are flattened within the design to prevent future extraction. The assets must not serve as the primary component of the product/download. It's crucial to note that using the stock assets themselves, even if edited, as the download (whether free or for sale) is strictly prohibited.

  • Integrate stock assets seamlessly into various online advertising platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube ads, and other digital advertising channels.

  • Modify the images to your preference by resizing, cropping, applying filters, adjusting colours, and adding graphic or branding elements.

  • Use the stock assets in any client management projects such as social media management or graphic design projects, provided that the client also purchases the images and obtains a standard license.

You cannot:

  • Claim ownership over the image, even if modified. Vela Studio LTD retains the original rights to the image, and by becoming a customer, you agree to utilise the images strictly within the parameters defined in these terms.

  • Use our stock assets in the creation of derivative digital or physical products where the asset constitutes the primary element of the design, including but not limited to mockups, phone cases, calendars, or similar items.

  • Engage in the selling, lending, transferring, making available for download, or giving away of the stock assets to any third party.

  • Use the stock assets to endorse or sell other stock photo or video products, services, resources, or courses, whether offered for free or paid.

  • Refrain from using stock assets for any offensive, defamatory or illegal purposes. Such uses are strictly prohibited.

  • Incorporate the stock asset into any work crafted for customers or clients, including modifications to the original assets by adding text or graphics, involvement in social media management, website design and builds, ebooks, PDFs, or any other professional activities conducted on behalf of clients. In order to proceed, the client must also obtain a standard license to legally utilise the assets.

  • Integrate the stock assets into website templates, design templates, quote templates, or any other editable products. If you wish to pursue this, please reach out to us at s.morris@velastudio.co.uk to initiate a discussion. We're here to assist you!

  • Employ the stock assets in ebooks or physical books intended for sale on platforms like Amazon, similar mass distribution sites, or through traditional publishing houses. For further guidance on this, please contact us at s.morris@velastudio.co.uk. We're more than happy to assist!

  • Create content intended for mass distribution on a membership site, print-on-demand, or third-party design site using the stock assets.
